Alexander Cepela, LPC, CADC
Alex is a certified drug and alcohol counselor who completed his master’s degree from Governor’s State University in Addictions Studies: Addictions Counseling Concentration. Previously, he obtained a bachelor’s in Family and Consumer Sciences: Family Services, with a minor in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University. He specializes in addiction and mental health counseling. Alex’s approach to counseling is holistic with a passion to provide constructive improvements in all aspects of a client’s life. These areas include, but are not limited to; familial, behavioral, cognitive, environmental, genealogical, nutritional, and educational. Furthermore, Alex believes strengthening his client’s internal framework, in turn, will transition to a positive external environment. In doing so, he focuses on developing confidence and balance within ourselves, which has a direct impact on personal roles and networks. He believe there is always a solution and room for growth.
